Link Lotto

As you know, we make some money on this site through advertising. We spend some of it advertising ourselves and now we're going to take that one step further.

We're organizing a link lotto. We'd like people to link to us and we're willing to pay for it. For the remainder of the year (July - December) we'll be running a link lotto. We'll extend it depending on our revenue.

The prize will be $25.00 awarded to a random site which links to our site using the banner and linkcode below.

So far, there are 16 entries for 2008July

Winners

Our winner for July 2004 was Kristen www.paymyspeedingticket.com. Apparently that was enough to let her reach her goal as her site has been shut down now.

Our winner for August 2004 was Joy of De-Debt Mac who could still use your help.

Our winner for September 2004 was Craig of www.craigwerner.org who is still looking for loans.

Because the drawing is random, it is possible for someone to win twice, even twice in a row. Our winner for October 2004 was Craig of www.craigwerner.org who is still looking for loans.

The Rules

  1. Links received by the 15th of the month will count for that month (so anything received before July 15 will be in the first link lotto)
  2. To enter, you need to place a link to our site from your site. Someone (it can be you) has to click through to our site from your site.
  3. On the first of the month we'll randomly pick one site which has sent us one or more visitors to receive the prize.
  4. The link must appear on the site when we visit it. If we can't find it, we'll pick another winner.
  5. Where possible, we'll send it via paypal. Where not possible, we'll ask for an address. If the winner can't give us a good way to pay it, we'll choose a new winner.
  6. Your site must be asking for financial help. You should probably be listed on our site listings, but that's not required.
  7. Multiple pages from the same site count as one entry.
  8. Sites which are hosted on www.savemesites.com already are not eligible.
  9. The judge(s) may disqualify a site for any reason.
  10. You may use a different font or color to match your site, but please don't change our graphic

The Link Code

You can use either a text link or a picture link, your choice. It won't change your chances of winning from our standpoint. To use it, simply cut and past the contents of one of the boxes below into your page.

Text Link

It will look like:
SaveMeSites - because asking for help should always be free.

Graphic Link

It will look like:

Because Asking for Help should always be free

Or, you could use our new animated banner:
