It would be wrong for me to try to help her because I would only get myself into trouble and then I wouldn't be able to help her long term.
The first time she spoke to me about her problems, I phoned Samaritans to talk about it.
Debt doesn't only affect the people with the debt problem. It has a knock-on effect.

Teresa - Saturday, 31-May-2008 19:37:31 EDT- Hi, It's been 15 months since my mother had a hemorradic stroke to the brain. She was sent home from hospice to die last August 2007. Thanks to my prayers and my father God. My Mom is still here. We are prisoners here we don't have ramps and we can't get out. I don't have means of a Van to get her out of here. Hospice just drop her off of care because she has been stable. I quit my job to care for her here at her moblie home. I need a bathroom changed over to a handicap especially the shower. I'm here alone and no help. 15 months. If you have a kind heart please help us. My shingles are falling off the roof I can't get up there. God bless you all....Theresa Tucson,Arizona

I draw plenty of money but because my brother got sick with cancer (he passed away in cleveland) and I spent all my
e money going to visit him. I knew that with all my bills that I couldn't afford to go but I had to because he was the best brother anyone ever had. i have
d spend lots on medical bills because i have been quite Ill and no one here at work or anywhere knows just what a bad financial way that I am in. I don' tell them how much i need for i know they can't help.I don't want anyone to just give me money but to only lend it to me and month after next, I can pay you back. I need money as soon as possible and I don't have any credit cards or any way to pay. If you could help and I need a total of $3,000. I can repay you back in april and it would be much appreciated.

I have no money, no food, no way to pay my utilities, or pay my rent. I am terrified. I have to feed my poor cats too. UUUuUuUUgh!! Can someone please,....please help me?? :(

I graduated in May 2007 (BS Biology) and haven't found work yet, I NEED to repay my student loans, I am currenlty in default. I've been on numerous interview and continue my efforts but just haven't gotten an offer yet.....
Becky - Saturday, 26-Jan-2008 22:35:02 EDT- Would like to start a business and don't know how. I think before I think of that I need to pay off my school loan. I have paid off all credit card debt and even my car. All I need now is $14,000 which I still owe of the $25K I borrowed to go to school. Once this is paid off I believe I will be able to start my business and be able to someday buy my own house.

Jim - Monday, 24-Dec-2007 23:51:17 EDT- Recently found out I have cancer of the esophigus. The traveling, and additional medical costs on top of our home payments, vand other bills have put us in a situation of possibly loosing our home, and life as we know it.
